Current Residents 

Our current residents represent medical schools from around the country, including the University of Arizona, Des Moines University, University of Iowa, University of Utah, University of Minnesota, University of Nebraska, University of Oklahoma, University of Rochester School of Medicine, and University of Texas San Antonio.  Past residents have come from the University of Utah School of Medicine, Loma Linda University School of Medicine, Meharry Medical College School of Medicine, Eastern Virginia Medical school, Case Western Reserve, Georgetown, Michigan State University, University of Alabama, Louisiana State University, University of Maryland, University of Colorado, University of Virginia and the University of Southern California. Our residents have a variety of interests within the field of medicine as well as outside the hospital.  Please click here for brief bios of our current residents.

Alumni

The program has had 23 graduates since its inception. After completing the program our graduates have engaged in a variety of medical pursuits.

• 50% have gone on to combined private practices in internal medicine and pediatrics in Washington, Utah, New York, New Mexico, Colorado and Alabama
• 25% have entered fellowships in:
  • Combined Med Peds Infectious Disease 
  • Adult Rheumatology
  • Pediatric Critical Care
  • Pediatric Emergency Medicine
  • Academic general pediatrics
• 15% have pursued Academic hospitalist work with responsibilities in both internal medicine and pediatrics
• 10% have pursued intersts in other fields, such as masters of public health training and public policy work, anesthesia, and general internal medicine practice
